More house listings as mocca.com partners HSR

House-seekers can expect more property listings onMediaCorp’s online classifieds portal mocca.com following its tie-up with HSR, one of the largest real estate agencies here.

.

The partnership will make it easier for HSR’s large network of property agents to place their advertisements on the website with just a telephone call through a dedicated hotline service. Agents can also make use of the portal’s image gallery to visually enhance their listings.

.

“In the digital age, consumer lifestyles continue to evolve, with the internet becoming an integral part of people’s life,” said Mr Timothy Goh, Media-Corp vice-president of new media business and customer relationship management.

.

“Mocca strives to stay ahead of this curve, and this partnership paves the way for how the digital generation will look for their dream homes,” Mr Goh said.

.

With tools such as maps and past transacted prices at users’ disposal, HSR chief executive Patrick Liew said the collaboration provides a platform for home-buyers to make better decisions when looking for property. “The real estate world must embrace the internet to bring the best service to our customers.”

.

Mocca yesterday also organised a seminar to familiarise HSR agents on how to maximise the full scope of tools and features available on its website.

.

Besides online classifieds, mocca also recently launched OneGuide, its business listings service that allows business owners to build shopfronts and market products to mocca’s audience. The portal has a subscriber base of about 100,000 members.

MediaCorp’s online classified advertising and online community portal, mocca, has added more depth to its revenue stream with a collaboration with one of the largest real estate agencies in Singapore, HSR.

Under the collaboration, mocca will be offered as the preferred online advertising portal for HSR’s 8,500 agents.

These agents will receive customer service and graphic imaging support from the mocca team when they place their ads with the online portal.

MediaCorp’s Vice President of New Media Business and Customer Relationship Management, Timothy Goh, says these support services will free up the property agents to meet potential home buyers or sellers.

Mr Goh believes mocca’s competitive rates for online ads — at as low as 5.6 cents a day — is another pull factor for HSR’s agents.

In addition, mocca is marketed across all media platforms in the MediaCorp group.

“We’re putting in well over 3 plus million dollars worth of advertising push into the mocca product over the next 8 to 12 months. This will cover radio, print, tv and online. The way that MediaCorp has been marketing mocca, will lend a lot of support.”

MediaCorp launched mocca in July last year to tap classified ad spend in the online media space.

At its peak, the portal attracted 9.8 million page views per month and has more than 15 thousand listings, of which some 30 percent are property ads.

The portal was revamped last month to include an online calculator, a property price-tracking feature and a business listing and company profile page.
